whats the torque spec on the valve cover bolts? i got me one of those torque wrench digital readout adapter things, and its inch pounds only starts at 239, wtf.

 

Ya don't that, that's 20ft/lbs, its basically finger tight with a 1/4" driver.

 

ya its 6 ft pounds. lol i can still use the tool but i have to watch it wont warn me

 

Yeah, be careful too. I broke one of those bolts off using a 1/4" wrench. I'm guessing it was weak or something but luckily I had a left hand drill bit handy that I bought when a bolt broke off in the oil drain on the S256.

 

About a half-second worth of hammering by a Mikita 1/4" electric impact works well for me.
