Did we get any word on getting the TR8L Ic?

 

No I can pm him. Most likely he missed that question from the last thread... and to the question regarding if the reducers are included, I would think so.

 

get some pics of the tr8L. i want that one if they put that in for the group buy.

NEW ITEM, TR8LLower pressure drop TR8 intercooler. This intercooler has a less dense internal fin structure(straight fin design) than our standard TR8 and is good for higher HP applications 575HP at only 1.5psi drop. This is the intercooler that we now give in the Turbonetics 350z and G35 Turbonetics turbo kits. Core length is 2" longer @ 24". More suited for the V6 applications, were boost pressure is kept low, with higher flow rates.

with that said the dimensions of this IC are 655.2 cubic inches. over 100 cubic inches greater than the stocker. They are the same price so I dont see why it cant be included in the GB. The mounts look universal enough that 2" increase in increased length can be compensated for.

The 90 degree elbows would need to be an inch shorter on one side of the elbow for both elbows but Im sure they know that. Still haven't gotten a reply back from the PM I sent him. Hopefully he checks in here soon.

I googled TR8L and found this pic... it might not be the exact IC but they probably all look the same. That photo however does show the logo pretty well.

I called and Jason picked up and I told him who I was when I placed my order. He's gonna have to either give us a code for their website or it might be that we will have to call and let them know who we are. Again another question Jason is gonna have to answer. Hopefully he hops back on and responds. If he doesn't by tomorrow I will give them a call.

It looks like I will get my IC by Monday evening. If I can get out of work early on Tuesday then it shall be installed

The TR8L will not work, its 2" longer, and will cause problems with the connections, plus its a low density internal fin, not good for 20psi and above

Also for logo, it will be the newer TRE logo....
We do not have a stencil yet, but im working on it

 

if the tr12 comes with all the mounting hardware and elbows put me on the list, march 15th ill order.

if you guys are on stock turbo the tr8L is not what you want. its made for lower boost applications with its "straight fin design". it would be better to get the tr8 for you stock turbo guys

Yeah this will come with all the mounting stuff right? And whatever I decide on, will have no logo and black couplers.

 

should come with elbows, couplers/ reducers, clamps, mounting hardware, and the IC. Its a kit, everything in the Pic on page one should be included.

These are TR10 and TR12 IC kits right? meaning all the mounting hardware, couplers/reducers, and clamps are included with that price?

Also, are these prices priced as shipped? just asking the necessary question so nobody is confused in this group buy.
