So what would the wait time be to receive one that is anodized if I purchase Monday?

i was planning on buying the zzp before i saw this group buy. now that i cant participate in the group buy im back to zzp. i need a bigger intercooler than the tr8 so yes i will need to get one that hangs down a bit. and the zzp definitely will improve performance without jeopardizing reliability...

 

I see, I assumed something completely different about you so before I knew everything I thought you were just being bitter and running to ZZP to prove a point. My bad, but yeah ZZPs intercooler is good and I like it, but I don't like that it hangs low so I can't buy one. Here where I live it's not realistic.

Anyway back to topic, I hope we still have a good amount of people for this group buy. I'll place my order here in a couple hours. I have some other errands I need to do, I'll do my part for this. I have a question though, so lets say I place my order and we don't get enough buyers, what happens to my order? Does it get canceled or do they up the price and ship it to me?

Well really it was more like you have 4 weeks to get 10 people. but we got 10 people before that.

 

Well I think what Jason is saying is he will ship out the first ten at that price on Monday and the group will still hold for 4 weeks. At least that's my take on it. Would be really cool if I got credited back to the group buy price since I kept this group buy idea alive. Lol.

Yes I am aware, not sure on why the whole kit would be backordered though, since I am willing to pay for it now I shouldn't have to wait an eternity. I want to know how long it would take for it to be in my hands.

 

Because I'm sure it takes time to anodize. So if you pay when everyone else does, plus the time to anodize, its going to be on back order why you wait for your shipment to be sent out.

I could be wrong, but most shops don't stock anodized stuff, its usually special order.

 

If I pay now, then a kit should be set aside for me no? Hence the reason I'm paying now lol. If not then I'll just get it anodized somewhere else.

So the 10 will basically sit 2" lower, correct? mounting brackets are in the same place?

 

Mounting brackets will be in the same location and the inlet and outlet will also sit in the same location.

 

so i guess im asking if the 2" are on top or on bottom?

 

okay im in, but idk what one to get? within the next year im going to get the BNR stage 2 (2871), so should i go bigger than the 8? or will the 8 be fine? i want it to hook up to my Hahn charge pipes also.

 

So after reading through again i now know the 8 and the 10 will both fit my hahn cp's. So now i need to figure out if the 8 will work fine with the BNR turbo, id rather not get the 10 if i dont need to.

EDIT: just read that the TR8 is good for up to 475hp. i doubt ill be near that so im in for the TR8.
