Treadstone Stage 4 Turbo Upgrade Kit
-yes, i believe these will fit the LSJ with a waterneck replacement pipe
anyone want to try one out and be the test mule, its with some compensation.
-Precision does not offer watercooled turbo options anymore(I wish they still did). So we have to block off the water ports.
-Any aftermarket piping and intake pipes will bolt up no problem. just a matter of getting the right silicone adapters
-We will be able to offer the Garrett GT and GTX line up of turbochargers in the future

Hey guys! Just thought i would bounce in and make some comments. For the guys that just bought other kits/turbos..im sure they can be returned
Trust me when i say you will not be disappointed with this kit. I mean the pics alone make my wiggly parts a little less wiggly! And that Treadstone Turbo Manifold is in a class of its own. Beautiful design.
The power on my kit (the one pictured above. It is a Precision 5557 Journal Bearing) is outstanding. The powerband on it is surprisingly good. Its no stock turbo spool time but its not spooling at 6k either haha. Im easily seeing 20 psi by 4500 rpms. Running the BallBearing instead of JB will aid in spool time as well. And it pulls HARD all the way to redline. And if it could, it would go well past 7k.
As stated by James (Chevycobaltss3) All my issues were just a bunch of BS bad luck deals that severely halted me getting tuned. None...and i repeat...NONE of them had to do with the kit being poorly made or anything. Things like boost leaks, holes in a vac line, etc. Once James, AJ (LE5_AJ), and myself all got these problems solved, James was able to get me tuned correctly running on 91oct (for now) at 25-26psi. I will be dynoing in about 2 weeks. I would do it sooner but this guy will be in Vegas next week winning some jackpots bitch!
BTW Joe, Yes you should get this kit instead. If not then...I wont "like" anymore of your dubstep videos that you tag me in hahaha and i wont call your car sexy....as often.

I was the 2nd test car! they had a guy on here (cardelino18 or something) that was the original test car but they didn't receive much back from him. yea i randomly emailed them asking before they even mentioned needing a test car and they said yes haha
I actually DID just get my Tax return in... But I'm bout to drive down an move in with my chick in a lil, an she's mehicano...an Puerto Rican..an black...... I think she'd kill me.. The ride down there would be wild tho

What kinda stuff outside of the kit did you have to fab up yourself? What, stuff like.. a Tune, couplers..exhaust..? idk what else? An how hard was the install? It seems pretty straight forward...'take this off, put this in'
Jus wondering... an depending on what IG says about my backpay check tomorrow ...I might definitely be gettin this

Literally the only thing that would require fabbing on your own is the couplers. And they will actually work with you on what couplers you need so thats highly unlikely that you would need to do your own coupler stuff. Your catback will work with this kit, your intercooler and chargepiping will work as well, regardless of brand (chargepiping will need to be adapted to fit the blow off valve tho). You will just have to tweak here and there with angles on stuff to get everything perfect. As far as i know you will need to get your own tune for it which is expected.
Install was a breeze. Like you said, install was pretty straight forward. Take this off, replace it with that. I tried to include helpful tips in my Install/Review Thread.

Hmm I see 20 psi by like 4000 rps on my 5857. It's ball bearing but its also a bigger turbo.

im also on a pretty conservative tune too. and i may be alittle off on those numbers too. its hard to watch boost and rpms at the same time. ill have to ask James what my logs say for an exact number.
