no had trifecta removed it do to blowing map sensors, wanted GMS1 and had it installed, this issue was there before its just worse now
This sounds familiar.. but I don't wanna say... I had hickups after I finished off my springs the 1st time when no Gm dealer would look at it cuz it wasn't throwing any codes. Needless to say, my issue with the hickuping was 1 or 2 broken lash adjusters and a blown map sensor. Check the sensor first though.. lash adjusters you can't tell unless you pull the valve cover or you know what a Subie sounds like lol.. if you have their engine sound, then you've got, at the very least, a popped lash adjuster sitting inside your head.

Here is some more info from personal experience. Checking it would be quick, just don't be cheap and get a new valve cover gasket.
The MAP sensors going out can cause this as well as the wideband O2 sensor going out. Check the car for codes to see if something set despite you not having a CEL yet. Sometimes when the car senses something off with MAP sensors or wideband it will buck and continue driving normally, or will buck and then ignore the sensor(s) in question. Those with an RPD will have it happen followed by a "No Data Available" screen on the boost of AFR display.
It bucks because the ECU is suddenly changing calculation methods. It'll do this too sometimes if you ever try to clear CELs while driving... don't do that when the engine's running if you can help it. lol It'll immediately jerk the cam phasers and run rough for a few seconds until it catches itself.

this car has been a problem child since i got it. with the trans, the brembos, intake pipe, and oh yea the dam sunroof switch.
The MAF relocate moves the MAF into the coldside pipe, just before the throttle-body. The airflow is supposed to be more laminar down there so the MAF can get a better reading with less fluctuation. It's also for those wanting to put on a BOV on the hotside pipe, that will vent to atmosphere.
