Doe's anyone who has the trifecta tune notice there coolant fan coming on sooner than it did before the tune. Why is this

 

I put my Trifecta tune on the other day and noticed the same thing, I really havent bothered looking into it yet.

 

duh, trying to make engine run cooler!!

 

Yea man, if it comes on a little sooner, nothing wrong with that.

 

think when vince tune mine he forgot. if i have the heat blasting my car goes to coolant mode but i have the 2.2l l61 as well not your lnf

 

Ok,yea mine comes on at 198 When the tune is on and not on. Just wanted to make sure everything was cool.....Thanks Guys

 

That's part of Vince's tune, so it's normal. I remember it first scared me in the drive-thru line at Wendy's. I was like, wtf!?!

 

Part of tuning 101. Adjust fans to come on a little earlier to keep the coolant in check. During the winter I leave mine stock and once spring and summer hit, I have them come on earlier and harder - especially at the track.
