trifecta tune Help
So im typing in my mods on the checkout page etc, and im on the dual tune option and im confused. With esc on it says mild tune and with competition mode on it says power. When on the "mild" tune does that mean stock tune? Will the car still run right without going into limp mode with my aftermarket intake? Or is it just a less aggressive tune thats still tuned with my parts?
Thanks!
Also Im confused on what cable I need, whats the difference between the black box cable and Red cable.
Thanks!

get your tune from me- Bad News Racing
I'll make sure everything is real smooth and easy. Order the tune for your vehicle and the Trifecta Red Cable. I'll be emailing you for vehicle info. I'm also the cheapest way to get it. Everywhere else is quite a bit more $$$
Edit: I'll make it real easy, you need this- http://badnewsracing.net/webstore/pr...roducts_id/162

i have a question...i bought my car from a guy who already got the tune from trifecta...do i just buy the cable and i can get whatever tunes? is it attached to my vin on my car or what?...i was lookin to upgrade boost (im on the 22psi/15psi tune) looking to go up a bit in boost (26psi ish).
The red cable deal is by far the best deal. You can get the updates yourself and its easy to learn. I sold a few of these setups. Go through a independent dealer and save some money .

OP-wheni ha my hhr ss,i had the dual tune. when you are not in comp mode, you are on the stock tune at 15psi. when you tap the tc button twice and the dic says comp mode, you are on your tune.
to build on this, upgrade your clutch first. you can have him bring it in slower, but doesn't that defeat the purpose of the tune??lol

In reference to your earlier post, yes we can remove most of the torque management. You don't want to remove all of it because it would hurt the trans.
Also worth mentioning, you'll be getting a TCM tune for free also. We can make the trans shift firmer and hold gears longer.
Yes the adjustments to fuel trims, etc. are for your low boost and high boost tunes, so you would be adjusted for your mods no matter which tune you were on.
