Tuned!!!

This may be long...

Last week I bought a K&N SRI and a TurboXS catless downpipe. I put the K&N on .. no prob. The downpipe was put on my a local shop and they did a horrible job of making sure it didnt touch /rattle.

So .. my problem is this I wanted it tuned but no one close to me does.... so I plead with the forum for a tuner that could help.

From the first moment CCSS3 contacted me, he was friendly, professional and a pretty cool guy all around. He agreed to meet me in Nashville last Sunday to tune it, and said he'd get a few guys from that area that he's already tuned to hang out.

Sunday comes and I'm as excited as i've ever been ... So I load up a friend of mine to make the miles go by quicker and we head out. We get there a little early, and the address that James sent lead to a house with an obviously modded SS in the drive way. This must be the place!

Soon after everyone starts showing up. James rolls up and the first thing he said .."Do you know how rare your car is?" (2009 Yellow Sedan) Then offered to swap pinks after it was tuned. (tempting considering what he's done to his car) Very cool of him.

While tuning the car, he asked tones of questions about what I wanted and then he walked me thorough what he was doing .. the whole process took about an hour and a half to two hours and was probaly the most enjoyable time i've had in my car... almost

I would recommend CCSS3 to ANYONE, hell, I went from getting an average of 26mpg combind driving to 31 (just 3 tanks to gauge from though)

Not only did I get an AWESOME tune, but i've made a few friends in the process.

James, thanks for putting up with that horrible exhaust rattle, how you got no KR with all of that i'll never know. BTW thats fixed and its perfect!

plenty of dicks on this forum... and at the same time cant believe the nice people, gremlin85 offered to meet me half way from my house and tune my car with hptuners at a very good, price, and hes also answered about 150 questions that ive had along the way! great guy.

I love this forum, plenty of knowledge, great arguments and great entertainment, it keeps me from hopping in a jeep wrangler COD MW3 edition that we just got at my dealership and smashing it through the front doors trying to kill all the ******** i work with. (as you can see im online all day everyday mon-sat)

This forum is one of the most helpful I've ever been on. I'm glad that there are people like James on this forum. I do what I can to help my fellow 'Balters, as well, when they just need some tools and a few extra hands. It always comes back around. Helping each other out is half the fun.

opps

I didn't mention how gut-wrenchingly fast it is because I assume everyone that gets a good tune is shocked by the huge difference in power.

It feels like I'm being propelled through time and space by the hand of God.

James is an awesome guy that's for sure. Going from Trifecta to CCS3 tune made a world of difference, not just full throttle but through the entire rev band.
