Tuning software

Has anyone ever heard of Split Second? I guess it's a tuning company out of California.

Yeah I know that, but I know some people who said they can tune my car with this tuning software. I looked it up and it's a legit company, just didnt know if anyone has any experience with it.

What tuning software? Got a link to it? Maybe they're just using hptuners.

Does it necessarily have to specify Cobalt, or can you just download the **** on a laptop and hook it up to your car, or is the LNF just that difficult and sensitive?

It may very well not, the chick just got back from being overseas, so her SRT-4 has been sitting for almost 2 years and I'm sure she doesnt know much about the SS/TC, so it probably wont work, she probably just assumes it will.

It wont work, and I wouldn't want it even if it did. All it does is modify the signals in and out of the ecu. It isn't really a tuner. It tricks the ecu. I'd rather just tune the computer. It may work in certain conditions, but get out of those conditions, and you risk damage to the engine.

Trust me, if there was shop around here who knew how to tune with HPtuners or if I knew someone who could tune with HPtuners, than I would get my car tuned with HPtuners. But as of now, I'm screwed.

There are so many parameters to the LNF car that I wouldn't trust it to anyone else... hell somethings aren't even opened up for HPT yet!

Stick with a proven product for these cars!

Call up Clear Image Automotive. They can send you a tuner in the mail and they tune it from their location. It's really cool

ok if you need to just pm them. They are very helpful. It costs $250 which is pretty reasonable and from what i hear their tune Vince from Trifecta is very good.

I honestly didnt see anything on ClearImages website or on Trifectas website that said anything about supporting the SS/TC. I seen **** about the HHR and about the 2.2 Cobalt, but nothing about the SS/TC.

I seen that, but when you choose Cobalt all it has is a drop down box for 2.2, 2.4 and other. I dont feel confident in other, it needs to read 2.0 turbo, or something to that effect.

i just picked on and then in the comment box write 2.0 turbo ss/tc. Trust me they do it. I filled out everything and was about to do it but then decided against because i am waiting until Gm releases their stage kit then i am getting it tuned after that.
