Turbo no longer spooling

Hello again, back with another problem . After pushing full boost for what feels like 2 weeks now the turbo has what I think given up. I am not too sure how long the car was driven with the air leak before I bought it but the turbo is no longer spooling. I imagine all those months of the leaking air have finally caught up to it. Before it was nice and you could hear it, now it's no longer there I can't even seem to hear anything, it's just raw engine power at this point. It seemed weird to me because it made no noise whatsoever when it gave up. I was driving in the interstate (not aggressively, as I don't like to put too much stress on the car) when out of the nowhere when I put my foot to the pedal again it did not seem to want to boost past 0 and the nice sound the turbo made is gone. I do not know what this could be I am just going to skip to the conclusion that the turbo has given up. Any thoughts before I buy a new K04? Any input is appreciated thank you.

No smoke? No codes? Did you you ever get the tune looked at to determine if it was a stock tune or if the car was actually tuned for the BOV you uninstalled?

The car would be gutless if the turbo wasn't spinning anymore (like impossible to get to 65mph), the exhaust wheel would be a reasonable restriction without spinning.

Check to make sure there isn't a boost leak, sadly that is always the first time with boosted cars when things like this occur.

pull the intake and check for shaft play would be the first step here, or see if it spins at all by hand.

Hello, someone I know checked the tune and according to him it seemed to be stock tune, so I am guessing it is normal. As for the smoke, I do sometimes get smoke from the exhaust at random times, not a lot but I will look back at random times and sometimes see a little grey cloud coming from the back.

Yeah, the car felt REALLY slow, like extremely. It felt like the normal Cobalt but slower. I already checked for boost leak but I will check again to make sure something is not wrong.
