first of i love chevy thru n thru but im really starting to loose faith in them so far my car has been in the shop a total of 27 times from maf sensors to map sensors shift linkage wastegate solenoid ect... chevy inspected my car and told me that i needed a new turbo and wastegate solenoid so they ordered the parts it took 6 months for the part to show up...they did provide a rental car but im not 25 years old so that didnt help me at all...i had the hahn cattless dp and muffler delete they made me pay for a whole new exhaust including 2 new cats which came to a toltal of $1400 outta my pocket cause they said they were not going to release the vehicle under warranty untill everything is back to stock....they constantly fucked around with me saying that inspectors had to come out from gm and a bunch of loads of b.s. so i finally got my car back drove it for about a week now my power steering is gone so now its goin back to the dealer.....so here comes visit number 28....i am in the process of taking gm to court for the lemon law....
holy crap..bad luck. your story is a good reason as to why i'm keeping all stock parts, so when it goes to the dealership it can be stock and avoid these hassles. goodluck with you lemonlaw court stuff.

yeah your tuned, with aftermarket parts? I wouldnt bring my car to the dealer unless it was stock. This isnt a GM thing, this is your dealer being like this. Did you try a different dealer? do you beat the **** out of your car? do you race it? Theres more to the story then what you are saying...
Lemon law won't help you. The car has to go into the dealership for the same problem three times and not have the dealer be able to fix it. You're car is not a lemon.
And what did you think would happen with a modded car at a dealer? I'm surprised they even replaced it under warranty. You're a luck ****.

Illinois Lemon Law.
If they didnt report your car as modified. you might be able to take this.
LEMON LAW
Things You Should Know About...LEMON LAW
Has this ever happened to you...You buy a brand new car. But instead of hitting the open road in your new "dream machine," the vehicle is spending all of its time and your money at your local auto repair shop. If so, Illinois' Lemon Law may be able to help.
Is My Vehicle a Lemon?
In order to be covered by the Illinois Lemon Law, a vehicle must:
•have a nonconformity that both substantially impairs the use , market value or safety of the vehicle and is not repairable by the dealer or manufacturer in at least four attempts for the same repair, or
•be out of service for a total of 30 or more business days.
The Lemon Law DOES Cover: New Cars (purchased or leased)
Light Trucks and vans under 8,000 pounds
Recreational vehicles (excluding trailers)
Vehicles in their first 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first
Vehicles purchased in Illinois
The Lemon Law DOES NOT Cover: Used Cars
Altered or modified vehicles
Motorcycles and boats
How Does the Lemon Law Work?
Manufacturers establish an Industry Third Party Dispute Resolution Program to evaluate your claim. You can find information about this program in your vehicle ownership manual. To initiate action under the Lemon Law, contact the designated manufacturer representative for your vehicle. This representative will forward the required information and forms to you.
Preserving Your Claim
Lemon Law claims cannot be initiated directly through the dealer. Many consumers have lost their Lemon Law remedy because they waited longer than 12 months from the purchase date, the time period in which Lemon Law complaints must be filed, all the while believing they were proceeding under the Lemon Law through their dealer.
Keep in mind - it is extremely important that you file with your designated representative before your right to do so has expired!
Winning Your Claim
If the Dispute Board rules in your favor, you can expect one of the following compensations:
•you will receive a replacement vehicle of like or similar value.
•the manufacturer will buy your vehicle back from you, less the value for miles driven.
If you are dissatisfied with the decision of the Dispute Board, you may bring a civil action to enforce your rights under this Act. The manufacturer, however, may not dispute the board's decision.
Other Options
There are also other Federal and Illinois laws that deal with contracts and warranties for new products. Before deciding on a particular course of action, you are strongly urged to consult with a private attorney to discuss the various alternatives and determine the best course of action for your situation.
Remember- Keep Good Records!
Keep all receipts and records concerning repairs to your vehicle. Note the purpose and date of all repairs along with the length of time your vehicle is in the shop. The records you keep will be important in winning your claim!

around here, acording to my dealer, the bolt on part has to be at fault in order for them to void warrenty. but who knows, maybe he doesnt know. im glad i dont have issues. my service guy loves my intake and charge pipe, iv had no problems with them doing warrenty work with that all in there. He even told me he did everything he could to try to get my brakes on warrenty cause the inner pad wore out in 8 months and the outer rear pad didnt even wear, but he said he couldnt find anything. but who knows. i think ill hold off on that downpipe for now and if i do get one, ill keep the old one.
Personally...
I think you are FUCKED.
You modded your car, that is a risk you take. They will laugh at you. Court will not work as they will cite that you have modified your car and then they will laugh at you (Judge also).
