Weird boost issue

Recently went big turbo on my car and no I'm having a bit of a boost leak somewhere but have no idea where its at. I'm in the process of getting tuned by James. Logs are showing 20lbs of boost on the lower map sensor but only 10lbs on the upper map sensor. The car builds boost good, but it feels like soon as you let of the throttle it just instantly loses all boost. All pipes are nice and tight other than the intake pipe I found was barely even tight this morning. I didn't get a chance to fix it cause I had to leave for work and will be the first thing I fix soon as I get home.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced any leaks like this? I checked the sensor on the intake mani, its fine. Checked it on the lower charge pipe, it wobbles a bit, but its snug and tight. All pipes are clamped nice and tight as well other than the intake, but he said that shouldn't effect anything to cause this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Reinstall map sensors and make sure Orings are in place and fully sealed when you put it back in. That's the only thing i can think of if you see different boosts.

Check tps position in the logs and make sure the throttle is opening all the way and as commanded. If the upper and lower maps differ that much in pressure there is a chance the throttle plate may not be opening the way it should be.

I retightened every pipe, still leaked. I reinstalled my map sensors, still leaked. I than started a boost leak test and it slowly lost boost over time, still leaked. I attempeted the boost leak test 1 last time but just started spraying stuff on the engine bay and not just the pipes and soon as it hit this, it bubbled like crazy. The fitting wasn't even tight at all. I was able to untighten it with my fingers. Threw some teflon tape around it and tighten it up and it was golden.

Here was the line for my issue. Lone and behold...

Wasn't tight at all. It somehow got lose. I took the fitting off intake mani with just my fingers cause it was that lose. No idea what caused it to get like that. Weird though.

Omg dude this is ironic as hell. I have been having tuning issues so I put gms1 back on the car because I am on a road trip right now. Well I get 400 miles away and get off the highway last night on a back road and go wot, sputters and falls on its face...checked all tbolt clamps then i hop on the forum this morning...that same fitting is loose on my mani. Never touched that fitting before either. Turned it out with my fingers like you. Hopefully this was contributing to my tuning woes as well.

Lol. Weird as hell. No idea what even caused it to be loose but my tuning is going well now. No boost leaks!

I'm going to do a boost leak test today. I just got a new job so let's see if I'll be able to do it. I'm hoping I have a boost leak cause I've tightened my wastegate all the way down. If I don't have a boost leak I'm fucked. I don't know what else to do lol. I'm not boosting right at all.

Anyways, keep me updated bro. I'm glad you got that minor issue fixed and now you're boosting that turbo like it should be.

Well I still have a leak somewhere. That wasn't my only leak. I can hold boost fine and the car runs great but in still getting variances in the sensors. I also just realized my car is kind of bogging when coming to a start. My gf pointed it out to me 2 days ago it is kind of getting worse. When I come to a stop the rpms drop to about 700 and jump up to 1000-1200 to idle. It seems like another vac leak but I'm not too sure if it would cause the variances. Neither do I know where it could be leaking. I've sprayed everything and nothing bubbles.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
