when i called and asked ky clutch about it, they said the only clutches they have for the cobalt are OEM replacement. they said they didn't have anything for performance.

yeah joe thats why i have a six puck lol, you need to call the owner or the man in charge up there bro. trust me on this ive gotton two sets of clutches from them for my lnf a 8 puck and my six. ....... and my car was the first for the lnf could be a reason why like my car was the test platform lol but its seriosuly the ****.......... great product for real i just talked to them and i asked them if it was ok to make a thread on here and they said it is ok with them lol........

Are you saying for longevity of your trans and clutch, to go with the lightweight FW?

I'm saying that it can reduce some stress on hard shifts and launches. The difference is not huge, but it helps.

The LW does help with say, the syncros and longevity. But for 90% of the people here will be drag racing and benefit more from an OEM flywheel.
