what di I hvae to do to install a bov on my 09 ss/tc
There's a few companies out there that make the charge piping. Injen, Dejon, Hahn, CIA, Exhaust Depot, Synapse, there may be more...but they all bolt right up and depending on which brand you go with they give you the option for a BOV...put your flame suit on before all the BPV people get in here.
First off, you have to get charge piping, (go with dejon if you want a BOV all the stuff is on their website), then order the Hahn Block-off plate then make sure you have the flange welded on the hot side pipe and then order the BOV you want.
p.s. What part of FL do you live in?
If you get a BOV you like, you can call Morgan up, tell him what you want, send the adapter to him and have him weld it in.
You have two options of hooking up the BOV, vent it to atmosphere or recirculate it back to your intake
VENT TO ATMOSPHERE: You get the loud, crisp blow-off sound, but since these cars are MAF, your losing metered air and I know from experience in my SS/TC, running around with this setup untuned, leaving the car bogging/choking after blow-off.
RECIRCULATE TO INTAKE: Sound is definately quieter, but also no jerking around when you do blow off. This is the method I took. For the Synapse Engineering BOV, i needed a special size adaptor on my intake, which Dejon Powerhouse did so my tubing would work from the BOV to the intake.
