Just in case this comes up on anyone's Google or something, Powell absolutely still answers emails, and talked with me until we came to what I feel might be a good solution, at least to start. I'm going to do the PeeWee footballs in the rear springs (at his suggestion, among others here) and his stage one mount. I looked at the bushings (he suggested those as well) and they look pristine, so I might actually do some upgraded (or new OEM) struts/springs/strut mounts before lower control-arm bushings since I know the struts are a bit worn. I'll report back here with the differences in wheel hop. I know I'm not the only one to have that problem.

Edit: Also, how much do those cost? They seem to be the way to go for mounts but I don't see any prices listed anywhere for them.
only way they vibrate a lot is if u don't follow the correct install steps. then they wont rotate the engine right and cause vibs and also still wheel hop. I had my clutch done and they were not reinstalled right and I got wheel hop in third gear and blew my trans. after I installed new stronger trans I did it properly, now I simply get wheel spin like I'm supposed to. also getting retuned with better boost ramp and slightly less aggressive tune since that one what **** scary.

Buy Youth footballs.

Deflate them. Stick them in rear springs. Inflate them. It keeps the spring from collapse when launching the car. Helps keep weight on front tires.

Cheap mod but effective.
