Ok... I usually try to be nice, but seriously everyone STFU... if there is a whine coming from the car and he notices no adverse mechanical drawbacks, its not the ******* turbo... EVERYONE STOP SAYING THE TURBO IS BAD!!!!!

I have the same charge piping and have the same sound.... ITS A ******* BOOST LEAK!!!! Its the turbo - piping coupler, there will be no CEL because it is such a small leak, thats why it is a high pitch sound, its like a trumpet, if you squeeze your lips tightly and blow you get a high note... air leaking makes whining sounds not blown turbos

stop sending him on a wild goose chase if you have no idea what your talking about...
And if a turbo did blow, you would know, it would sound like grinding metal for about 2 seconds then it would be a huge loss of power...

So now that you have established it's a leak, tell synapse to fix it. It sounds like a design flaw. See if they can get it fixed and send you a slightly revised part.

yeah i was thinking it wasnt bad from the time i spun it with my finger and it spun easy.

just to let you guys know i found it!!!!!!!!!!! one clamp was just a little loss and no more whine it was by the intercooler. i did put the stock intercooler back on because i think there is a hole in the aftermarket well it could of just been that loss clamp. thanks for all your guys help!

Now slap that aftermarket intercooler back on and see if that's the issue.

Most people try and put on a tuff guy front online. I hate people like that. I try to be helpful whenever I can because I hope others will return the favor if I need help with something. . I would be very angry at Hahn though. If I wer in your position. I just hope it does not happen to anyone else.
