widening throttle body
If you are interested in this service let me know. We work with a local machinist who specializes in throttle bodies. Here's an example of what he does to a stock TB on the LT1 engines:

I would need to check with him for pricing for the LNF throttle body.

Mmmmm... not sure how it would work on an LNF. The computer likes to compensate negatively for extra airflow. Now, if HPT unlocked the whole ECM, then we might be able to tune that out. But until then, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable doing an irreversible mod to a piece that would cost so much to replace.

Actually, HPT may have come far, but not quite far enough. There is a thread that ZZP made about putting on a bigger TB, and I imagine the result would be much the same. The computer compensated for the airflow and closed the throttle plate some.
Lol, I try. Its a very interesting thread. I think the majority of it is speculation on why the computer does what it does, but it will give you an idea what might happen if you do the TB widening. I mean, it might work, but I would HATE to waste that much time and money if it doesn't work.
I would like to see if polishing the TB would help at all. It would be a first step in the right direction, but until we can completely disable limp mode, I don't think we will be able to change a whole crap ton on the car.

Money is better spent elsewhere, getting a bigger throttle body on a stock turbo is kinda pointless. Maybe when you're pushing double the power and you pretty much did every bolt on than a tb makes sense.

When I had a PGT, we did this all the time. Of course we converted to ZE engine and bought a JDM ECU that upped the fuel output. Dont ya just wish it was that easy to fix the fueling issues on the CSS?
My reply was to the OP not you, but even with your mods i still wouldn't waste your money since you're not pushing any serious power. Simply up the boost and you'll get more power.
This mod works totally different on naturally aspirated cars than turbo cars since the air is heavily compressed and opening the throttle orifice a bit isn't going to matter much.
