Will new Knock sensors cure False knock?

I'm thinking about getting new knock sensors to help quell false knock.

It's my understanding that false knock grows with RPM and is typically at WOT. I get an instant 2.9-3.6 at 2k-3k RPMs barely pushing the throttle on my daily commute. Nothing at WOT. I even get knock when rev matching. This is at 0 load since the clutch is in.

I know I can just turn of my gauge annunciator for knock but I like it for when I do go WOT, so to keep my gauges from flashing all the time when coolant temps under 160-170 I am considering new knock sensors.

Or is it fine just picking up something else like exhaust rattle or solid mount rattles.

Opinions thoughts?

Sounds like tip in knock. You don't get knock while cruising right?
If its tip in knock that can be changed via HPT.

As for your actual question. I personally am not sure it would matter unless there was an actual failure of the sensor.

Have you re-clocked them? The position has been found to cause/cure false knock.

Mine does the exact same thing sometimes. I think its normal. Also if you log with HPT you'll see that it doesn't pick up the false knock like the interceptor does.

I don't get it when I'm cruising at a specific speed no. I was hoping that wouldn't be the case. haha.

I have not the slightest idea how to do that.

Yeah I have noticed that too. It seems the Interceptors are hyper sensitive.
