Your making it harder than it should be, bend the line out of the way a little bit and you would be all set. If you want to take all of that apart you can but I think the other way would be easier.

Not retarded, just didn't think about it. I get ya.

I think he said there is a hole in it now, so it needs to come out.

FWIW, it's pretty standard to move that line on any turbo swap. It is always close if not touching something.

When they installed it at the shop they pointed it out. We moved it, I guess over time it slipped under and yea where we are now. I ordered a new hose, it'll be an easy fix. No big deal.

I was just giving out information from my OWN experiences with the ZFR. This is a thread to inform the customers. It is a straight forward install yes, but I'm giving the little details that count. At least to me they make a big difference.

Yeah, my chick was looking at me funny when I was "modifying" your a/c lines to clear the new charge pipe setup. She's wondering why I have the pry bar in there, then tells me that it won't bend that easy... i'm like babe, you don't understand how soft alumnium tubing is. It's designed to be reconfigureable for future turbo add-on work

My car will be back on the road tommorow. Having the chevy dealer put the zfr on (got hell of a deal for it) They called today and said they ordered all new gaskets and it will be done tommorow. The guy working on it said hes done multiple cobalt turbos and knew it was the ZFR when he saw it lol. Local news is calling for 6-10 inches of snow tonight. Hopefully they are wrong so i can get into it tommorow .

Just to clarify, don't think for one second that since the dealership is installing it he's going to get some kind of warranty. In this instance, the dealership is just playing the performance shop role. Not unheard of at all.

How hard is it to install anyways? Do you get to it from the top or bottom of the car?

If it's anything like the BNR, I would do it from the bottom with the rear trans mount removed.

This is the way to do it. I don't think it will fit from the top.

Just a FYI to the earlier posts about egt sensors, we have a built in pyrometer in our ore cat O2 so it would not be an egt sensor since those would be pre turbo for the best info about the engine but post turbo gives you info about the cat
