ZZP Builds The Best LNF Mod Ever!
Yes. We can not get EFRs from Borg Warner right now. When we do, we will be paying distributor price for a turbo without the parts that we manufacture. The turbo available on our site had to be purchased at a significant profit from another vendor that knows that they are not available. Do you want us to lose money so that someone can get a ZFR turbo?
Seriously, don't act like it's our customers that are getting the bad end of this deal. We have well over $50k invested in this project right now. We have over a hundred completed housings and another hundred castings as well. We could be selling these things left and right, but we can't get our hands on any of the center sections/compressor covers. Look at it from our point of view once. We are all in and now just sitting here waiting like everyone else.

when u puttin that on locon?
sorry for being off topic.. but trying to save someone from making a bad mistake..
I test drove the Veloster Turbo today, for $17+k it's not worth it.. everything in the car feels cheap.. plastic everything.. it has the same "tinny" sound from an Asian made car manufacture.. as for style - it's looks great, great curves, profile/ etc.. but for power, it lacks it on all levels.. from a stand still, our balts will walk this car.. either from a dig or roll start this car wouldn't be a match at all.. 1st - 4th gears are to narrow, during shifts the TC lag is there, but it took a few long seconds to get up to speed [50-110 mph] i would say around 8-9 seconds.. no bolls at all.. since its a new car, the aftermarket -market will take at-least a year to develop power/performance products..

it's to go against civics si, golfs.. it's not ment to be an all out power hitter... whats funny is on the initial reviews the suspension got praised because it gave a sporty feel .. now it's being looked at as the "same crappy base suspension" it's supposed to be a peppy gas sipper. the auto in the car is terrible supposedly but the manual makes the car fun ..
The Veloster Turbo starts at $22k. You could buy a Cruze LT, a few bolt-on’s, tune it, and still be cheaper than the Veloster with a better interior all while being just as fast if not faster.
I’m not pro Chevy either; I just picked the Cruze as an example. The Veloster isn’t a value with the mediocre reviews I’ve seen.
And have you ever tried to get parts for a Hyundai at Autozone or O'reilly’s? They laugh at you and tell you do go to the dealer. $$$

There were supply issues as well. There were revisions made. They also decided to refine these through data collected from the indy program. They concentrated all of their efforts there and plan to re-release the EFR line. Hopefully soon.
That is right.....BW made the announcement that they will be doing a revision to the turbos and starting to sell in Q1 of 13. That translates to ZZP not selling this kit until then.
Your guys best bet is to simply find some on ebay or something or something.
