zzp catted downpipe problems

hey....i have 2010 lnf balt..... i have gm stage1 with hahn intake. never had a single problem...i just put on a zzp catted downpipe 2 days ago. .. last nite it threw itself into a safe mode and i couldent boost anymore than 2 psi. i was driving around without beating on it for about 2 hours when this happened. and i threw a scanner on it..it came up as a p0101 mass airflow volume range/performance meaning that it went out of its range ..so in otherwords its flowing too much. it also had a p013e which is a 02 sensor delayed response .. i cleared both codes and i have all my power back. hoping it will eventully learn and not throw these codes... does annyone with gm stage1 have these problems after doing a downpipe??

The 101 code is most likely caused by the Hahn intake skewing the MAF reading. A downpipe will not cause a MAF code. The o2 code could be a result of the downpipe having the separated o2 chamber. It seems that our catted downpipes throw codes more often than our catless DPs, probably due to an over-compensation in the partially isolated o2 chamber. If you are in the market for an ECM, we delete the secondary 02 codes to avoid any related codes.

What kind of catted DP is it? Magnaflow one or the spun metal? I might be interested.

I've been running the Spun Metal Cat ZZP DP for +/- 20K miles and just about 8K miles ago it says my rear O2 is bad. I'm not GM Staged though, just tuned with Intake and the DP.

In my case it could actually be bad though as I just passed 70K miles.

But, I never had any problems for quite a few thousand miles. I also had MAF problems a couple of times and BOTH times it was the plug wiring. Eventually just got a new plug, cut the wiring back a bit, soldered in some new wire and heat sealed it up real nice.

nope. I have gmstage 1, k&n sri and a hahn catted dp with no issue. Put your stock intake back in to see if the MAF cel doesnt come back.

It probably just went bad... My old S-10 would go through O2 sensors every 50,000 miles or so. It seems the only thing more ridiculous than GM brakes are O2 sensors.
