ZZP downpipe

Looking to get a zzp downpipe for my christmas present from my woman. Now im just wondering if i should get the angled bung or not. I know it prevents the check engine light which is nice since i probably wont be tuned until february. My question is will it mess up any of my readings when im getting tuned?

man, I have been out of the loop for a long time, only $180 for a downpipe is a lot less than what I remember...very tempting

No, you'll be fine. The secondary O2 is just there to make sure there is a difference in the exhaust gasses from the primary O2 sensor. Definitely get the angled one.

Yea man, get the angled O2 bung. Like they said, for $180 bucks, you can't beat it. Not sure if you can go cat-less in your area due to emissions checks, but if you can, I recommend it. Great sound and additional performance gain over a catted pipe.

Why get angled if you are gonna be tuned anyways?

why not? especially if your going to not get tuned for a bit... the hardest part about install is getting the top bolt on the back off... effin' cat is in the way.

If that one is 180..then why is the ecotec downpipe 400? Is that for a turbo upgrade only?

With the angled one it won't have to be tuned out. One less thing to worry about.

I went the Bad Mab + Vibrant extended O2 bung route and never threw a code. Didn't get tuned for almost 2 mos after.

i have the angled one and my check engine light comes on every 2 weeks. I keep deleting the code. i emailed zzp 2 times and never got a response. If i knew this was gonna happen, i would have just gone catless.
