It's like that in many businesses, but the automotive world seems to be pretty bad. Take any custom trans to a different trans shop and they will almost always tell you that it's almost all stock and that the modifications that were done are wrong. Cylinder head porting gets the same reactions. Tuning, on the other hand, takes it to a whole new level. I can't tell you how many times that I have heard someone say that a tune file they looked at is a mess, even when the car runs perfect and out-performs any other cars with the same mods. Not that this is what's happening here, but it's how it starts.

People also seem to forget that custom tunes for cars are different across the board. No engine runs to the exact same spec. Different cars get different tunes. Different cars react differently to the same tune. No fuel has the exact same octane rating every single time. Some LNF's react differently to wastegate adjustments. Some hardcore dialed in cars make less power than some cars that have just been flashed 1-2 times with minor adjustments.

Matt you told me there's no need to update my ZZP Tune because the tune is set up for what I have, it may flow a little more air, but it's not a big deal. You did say you'll update my tune if I wanted a BOV for free.

I don't get what exactly you're meaning now. You'll update my tune now for free with my parts?

The car should have been dynoed with a thrid gear pull first off. 1-1 gear ratio is pretty much the standard, odd that any dyno operator wouldnt do/know that.

Your car is probably running correctly you just do not know how to dyno it "neither did the shop" and screwed up the numbers making you feel like the car has more when it doesnt. The tune is most likely correct, thats probably why he said there's no need to update unless you have newer parts, which is also very generous of them since most shops charge for retunes and you should have stated all your mods before hand for the first tune.

I'm saying that if you need adjustments made, I will do that for you. The MAF relocate is one example, but anything else that you need an adjustment for, I can do. From the looks of your dyno numbers, I don't think you are going to gain much through tuning, either way. 293 is good for 5500 ft above sea level and basic mods.

Thought we dont have a 1:1 gear. 3rd is a little under driven and 4th is a little driven?
