If that is due to driver error, no built transmission in the world will prevent carnage like that.

This happened on a NLS shift from 3rd to 4th. Car had maybe a total of 30ish NLS shifts since i got it and was on a broken in ededy with less than 4k on it. Definately dont have driver issues either. Looks like it took out 3rd gear on the trans as well.

New exedy is in the trunk and the zzp stage 2 trans just arrived. The new efr setup is going to be sweet with all the custom BYT pipes.

Cant believe its right around the corner from being done. The new EFR along with the BYT install is going to be sweet. Unfortunately getting the head done and on in time is not going to happen so this will definately be done in two stages. Not sure when Nick will have time to do this so we will run it like this for a month or so before i reschedule with him again, looking at getting the car into the new shop next time around.

minus the wheel hop that was a pretty nice mean run right thtere. i like the camera! i just installed the ottp stage 1 mounts and besides the car driving better overall (barely any vibrations) the wheel hop is completely gone. and yes better tires help. so maybe you could drop .2-.3 sec pretty quick with that in mind

I would think a guy would get the car home and drive it for a week or 2 to get to know it before heading to the track.
But that's just me.....

After I get my car back, I'll be heading out again for 1 last shot at mid 13's. Hoping to do it on the GMPP clutch though, if the dealer will swing it haha.

He does have a point about the short time then racing. The clutch will no way be broken in before this drag day. I see a repeat of clutch #1. Def something to think about
