Yeah i would like to start getting all the parts together so i can have the car towed up to nicks when he is ready. Decided not to let my local shop install the new trans clutch and let nick do it instead. Definately cheaper in the long run so i might as well see if i can start getting parts off the car.

Waiting to hear back from BYT on the date he can start. Other than that just gonna start ordering most of the parts i need.

Oh the new EFR turbo along with a sweet custom BYT install sounds much better

Between the 6758 and 7064 at this point but will order one of them today along with the manifolds.

Decided to pick the 6758. Looking for something safe currently with the stock motor. Once i build the motor i would like to push it to 500ish.

He's still going to have to achieve a 12sec time before he can set a goal of low 12s/high 11s. He needs to get whatever he's going with together, get it up and running and tuned. and then spend a lot of visits at the track dialing it in.

i know i was just curious if his goal has changed now that his build has changed so much. i think he could easily make it into the 12s with the turbo if he can get the practice with the slicks.

Of course i would expect it to run lower. I guess it would be cable of 12's high 11's.

Like ralli said lets get it down the track first and go from there.

BYT Install data has been set for May 22nd. Unfortunately the car will not make another pass with M62 at all. Going to start pulling off all my ZZP Parts i dont need to make the install shorter and easier on both BYT and my own pocket.

Let me know if anyone is interested in anything.

just curious but you said that you were going to go ahead turbo the car and run it like that. but wouldnt it be easier in the long run to go ahead and build the motor and trans while the car is down. just my .02

uild.

Sure if i had another 7k laying around to just dump into the car. I prefer to break the stock motor first then rebuild and at this point i am not looking for anything to break.

Putting the S3 axles on might have been a bad choice since all the weakness is going to get transfered to the trans each time. Still waiting for ZZP to release the new transmissions so i can pick one up. Other than that i might take it easy on the car for a little and just track it once or twice to find out what she runs. After than there is no point in running it anymore.

So patiently waiting another few weeks until nick at BYT can start my install.

lol the mounts wont keep the trany togather what breaks is the sloppy shim job lets the gear sets spread apart and destroy the tranny what breaks the case is when those parts come loose and go through the case

I completely agree nothing on cars are bullet proof even if you spends tons of money on just one item. Something definately going to break and you should take that into consideration before you track it or just beat it for a DD.

I'd be excited if I were you. Not trying to thread jack but I am pretty excited I got the TVS. It wasn't even in my plans on things to do to my car. It was just there. Hopefully with the new power band you will be able to net a better 60 ft.

Haha! With your luck who knows? Jk. I think that as long as the clutch and transmission hold up to the power that your axles should be alright. What else is there to break?
