My wife got rear ended and it took 4 weeks to get it back. I am so glad the insurance covered the rental because they are not cheap. Gotta figure a minimum of $25 a day plus deposit and extra for insurance if yours doesn't cover it. When my balt was in for warranty work enterprise asked if I wanted insurance and I do have rental car coverage through geico but why not get more just incase so I said yeah and the guy told me $23. I figured it was $23 total, he never said that was per day. I went in to drop it off and the lady said it was $175, luckily she took it off for me but yeah you are looking at a couple hundred per week.

Hmm yeah little tapped right now, just spent around 11k on the cobalt and around 6k on my wedding in april, little tapped right now.

Car will hopefully be done within the next few weeks. Really not that much more to go just needs a little time and love. Until then i am just on vacation from work and can return once i get my ride done.

Definately looking at getting a beater once i return to work. original plans was to make this a toy car.

i was expecting more like this

[/QUOTE]

the difference is one is hand ported the other is cnc ported and hasent been cut with a sand roll thats why it has more shine alot of in the know people will go in on a cnc ported head and do some final porting by hand to improve the airflow and to smooth all the cnc ridges out of the port

I dont think Nick was working on it all week. Cant remember exactly what he said but as far as i remember nothing has been touched all last week. I have not emailed him or anything and will most likely touch base with him towards the middle to end of this week to see how things are going.

Trying to stay patient and not be up his ass constantly.

Yeah honestly i forgot what he said was going on last week. Gonna try and send him a email today or tomorrow to see if he needs help or something this weekend to get stuff done. I honestly enjoy being up at nicks and playing with his kids. His little boy AJ is so cute, wanted to take him home one day but was blocked, lol.

hey bud shaving my calipers for the verde rims i got like you. Do your slicks rub the strut at all? with the slicks being on a 7inch rim im worried about ballooning while running and having contact. The end of the strut where it bolts to the knuckle looks like it may be close you didnt use spacers did you?

I have no spacers and just shaved the calipers down. Nothing is rubbing or touching anywhere when i ran them at the track.

Nope not at all. Took me about 15 minutes per side and a little trial and error.
