Well i cant exactly say that went as expected at all. Balt was a slouch out of the hole without building boost with the wotbox. On the m62 setup i would build about 10psi according to the boost gauge sitting at the line launching at 4k and the balt was a beast out of the hole. Today due to a clutch pedal position sensor the box would not sense anyone stepping on the clutch it pretty much sucked.

So most of the day i was leaving at -26 or whatever the lowest setting is almost on the boost gauge. Lets just say not what i expected. Besides that the car apparently need another allignment since it did not have one since nick pulled it apart again. Slicks were rubbing the inside of the strut and left marks on both insides of the slicks.

Tried to do a copy all settings to the GM3+Trifecta Launch options tune on it. And was able to build 1-2psi with that and pulled a 1.9 but lifted at the 330 each time.

So car ended up doing 12.9@113 with a 2.1 6ft. Yeah thats pretty much how it went. Need to fix a few issues and get the meth flowing and for god sakes i need to be able to build some boost out of the hole.

Oh yeah gopro was not working since it would not see the SD card in it. Few vids and maybe a old one.

My first run down the track last time out I did the usual NLS to 3rd and the car popped loud and shut off Got it on video, everyone thought it blew up and it scared the **** out of me. Started it up and continued on without using the 2-step or NLS and just shifting slowly to not trigger the clutch position sensor before I had gotten off the gad pedal completely. I reflashed it now and checked all the connections but Im scared to try a NLS again lol

i thought about getting one but have been told from joe and a few others that on a blown car they arent really worth it and have issues. You just confirmed that for me

I agree 100%. Most people don't have the ***** to launch their car at 5k on slicks and nls down the track without a wot box lol. Nevermind a mostly stock drivetrain. Makes a huge difference I'm sure. But I think a lot of people want to drive their car home afterwards where you aren't scared to leave on a trailer haha.

yea well being a master tech and having a trailer i dont care if i scatter the car down the track trying to reach a goal. Records arent broken from being afraid to break your car. and as i said before only have the gmp clutch TC tranny mounts and an ingalls etd but yea launches are sick. Im hoping the stock axles hold for some 11 second passes we shall see though

The reason im afriad to NLS again is the fear of having my car turn off from 7800 rpms lol I cant imagine it was good on the car I think im going to test out the NLS by setting the TPS setting really light then trying a NLS at low RPM and low throttle in case it turns off lol. If I gotta take it off thats fine with me.

In the WOT box's defense, they say to flash it every couple months, and I hadnt flashed it for at least a year. That may have had something to do with it, who knows.

I think the axles should be fine. The reason 90% of them ever broke was because of the shock that was a consequence directly from wheel hop. If you've got TC mounts, Ingall's TD AND slicks, you should not have any hop at all.

I think they'll be fine, but that is in no way endorsing that they won't break... It is still possible.
