the TVS is an awesome idea. It's more efficient and will make power more safely than the stock M62. Once you really start getting into dropping pulley sizes and tuning your computer to deal with that along with all the cooling mods. I don't see the warranty remaining valid anyways. I don't think GM intended on warrantying a 300whp Cobalt, so just go with the TVS and make that power as reliably as possible.

You'll have to re-tune with the 1320 so you might as well do it all at one time. lol

If you are all caught up in your wanting the warranty, walk away from modding. It gets no simpler than that.
I started to mod a car with a 5 year warranty and 1 year later I threw the last 4 years away.
Make your decision and live with it.

you don't need a tvs for 300 bhp. the ls4 tb is a waste. period.

simple mods work the best.

header
downpipe
2.8
60's
intake
water injection
tune file.

or you can do a gm stage 3 and have 300 to the crank on 100 octane. up to you

first option sounds good..and if i get that stuff..it kinda sets me up for the TVS..all i have to do is get and exhaust and the TVS and a new tune?

header downpipe catback. to get the tvs dialed in it takes a bit of time of minor tweaks here and there

I might be confused then, do you or do you not need the LS4 TB for the TVS? I would imagine with your set up probably not because you're only pushin 18 pounds.

Ok....I was thinking because of the added airflow of the TVS that the LS4 TB was needed but now I know.

I guess that makes sense. I'm hoping to be able to step up to the TVS within 6 months or so. It depends on how many more cruises I pay for...lol...

~320 FWHP sounds awfully good to me.

Yea, but as I mentioned before I need to either find someone who can tune my car for it or I need to take the time to figure it out myself. But it's gonna be hard to do without HP Tuners.

I do need to read more about that charger though but theres so much misinformation out there it's hard to sift through and find the useful points.

Most likely yes, however if you went back to stock if something happend your warranty should follow as long as the dealer doesnt know about it

But hears a question..everything in the car is pretty much stock..you cant see the tune..u cant see the headers or downpipe..the 2.8's everyone over looks them..the 60's are inside the motor so u cant see them..and the water injector well where would that be..
what im trying to get at is will gm really notice?
