2.2 dp

im helping a friend add stuff to his 2.2 but im not familiar with them and what not. i looked but didnt see an dp for them. he just ordered pacetters 4-1 headers and wants a dp for them aftermarket which and wwhere are avalaible? thanks

...why are you posting in the 2.0 section if its for a 2.2 then?
almost every vendor that sells 2.0 stuff sells 2.2 stuff also. the exhausts are all interchageable

haah wow true that i forgot that it was a 2.2 i was talking about lol my bad but yea ill ask a mod to move it. and will the lsj dp fit the stock 2.2 exhaust?

I had a lsj dp on my old 2.2. prolly worked better than my zzp midlength header/dp, when i was all motor.

it is midlengh what does that mean. no dp is needed. idk about the 2.2s so yea lol i know ss/sc thats whay i own.

he got a pacesetter header, he needs to do 1 of the following, they all work, i list them from least effective to best:

(a) cut his stock downpipe right at the cat, than weld the flange that comes in the box with the header, this will work, but now he has to deal with a restrictive downpip

(b) cut a LSJ downpipe right at the cat, than weld the flange that comes in the box with the header, this will work better as the LSJ downpipe is bigger and will flow better than a stock 2.2 one

(c) get the exhaust depot downpipe made for the pacesetter header on a cobalt, this is the expensive route, it will work better, its a 2.5" downpipe, no pressed in o2 bung like the stock or lsj one, and it has a resonator to compensate a bit for being catless...
