Question 2.5" Pulley and Belt Slip

How do you know if you are getting belt slip? Does it squeal or what? I on getting the 2.5" pulley from intense. I already have the oversized tensioner pulley from intense when i bought my stage 3 but will it be big enough to take up the slack in the belt from a 2.5" pulley? Thanks.

Thats all I got on my setup is the oversized tensioner. If the belt slips, it sounds like any other belt slipping on a car, you will hear it. You can always get the Stage 2 belt and the blower spacer to raise things up. But you should be fine with the tensioner.

I get belt slip once in a wile, you cant hear it, but you can feel your car stop ecelerating as fast as it was and if you look at your boost gauge you will notice your boost droping.

You still need the shorter belt - even with the larger idler pulley. I am going to run a 2.7" Billetflow and I'm using the shorter belt and larger idler pulley.
