2.6" Pulley and Belt?

I currently have a stock belt and a GM Stage 2 belt (on the car now) and I am planning on dropping down to a 2.6" pulley with the other supporting parts as well. My question tho is, does it matter which belt I use if I am getting the ZZP Adjustable Tensioner? Can I use either one?

Yes, the adjustable tensioner will work for down to I beleive 2.3 or 2.4 pulleys. The belt is only good for 2.8 and up.

EDIT* I'm using BOTH the gm stage 2 belt AND the adjustable tensioner for my 2.6

So if I wanted to sell my Stage 2 belt and get the ZZP Adjustable Tensioner, I would be good to go?

Alrite, its not worth even risking it. Your going with the same setup that I will be doing in October. Let me know how you like your setup when everything gets installed.
