Hi every one I have a friend with a ion redline and we are having problems. The mods are 2.7 60's fmhe cai exhaust and a tune. The problem is it has no pull. It makes the correct boost the tune just got done by the best tuner in va. It is so bad my 06 ss with header dp and air box mod pulls him. I am thinking cat is clogged any other ideas? I am going to check pulgs and pull the injectors to check the tips see if they are clogged. He told me when he is a 2.9 42's it pulled better so it might be the injectors but I will have to check he is getting no miss fire codes no weird idle no bad fuel Econ. Thanks

140 it2 with 170 after hard pull they come right back down he has dual intercepters

I don't think it makes that big of a difference between the catless DP's as long as you tune out the O2 sensor.

 

those iat2's are way to high. its probably pulling timming. check the intercooler pump and check for any air in the heat exchanger. what are the iat's at with those iat2's

 

At those iat temps it would not pull enough timing to result in the power loss he is talking about. What is your air fuel at WOT?

usually if the cat is clogged he will be boosting a LOT higher than where he should be.
