2.7 vs 2.8
I am currently waiting on my header/dp to arrive and I am getting tuned. What are the pros and cons between the 2.7 pulley and the 2.8 pulley. About a month ago, I talked to Colejones and he almost talked me into the 2.7, but I was concerned because I only have a the cx heat exchange and no other cooling mods. The rest of my mods are in my sig, but as of now I am planning on going 2.8 with my 60s.
Any comments are much appreciated.
Thank,
John

2.8 is just the effeciency range... beyond 2.8 = ineffecient blower... yet people still go 2.5s and gain more power. How much more beyond the effeciency is up to the person. 2.75 is fine and i would do it with a meth setup.

i have a 2.7, and i went with that cuz i got meth,
and im still running stop exhaust
just waitin for my header and dp to come in so i can get her running right
anything lower than a 2.7 is over spinning the blower, running a 2.7 increases heat HARDCORE
i dont even have a heat exchanger or duel pass on, and she runs a little hot, but nothing to worry about because i have the meth
