That's the problem. There are not enough good tuners around here. We have maybe three or four shops and everyone has had bad experiences with one or another or there just way to expensive like Davinport here in Calgary that tunes vettes. We have a couple of guys that now there **** up in Edmonton and I will be getting tuned by them.

Yeah its in the tune, that and a combo of the right driver. I have had my 2.5 Pulley since august 06 when the car had 500 miles on it. I ran for 6 months with no cooling mods and i was fine. People that tend to blow have a shitty tune, drive there car to hard, or a combo of both.

I installed the stage 2 myself wand when I got to the end putting the belt back on I couldnt get it. So as a suggestion to make it easier...loosen the 4 supercharger bolts and tilt the pulley side down so u have more slack to get it on the tensioner. It slides right on then just tighten the supercharger bolts back down!!!

Is the machined one for 50 and the chrome one for 55 still made out of the light aluminum?

There all made from Aluminium. The cheeper one is not polished. I have a polished pulley and it looks great. It is the $55 one with the bolts $5 = $60 + shipping.

Nate 2.85" pulley and replacement bolts from Nate.

Yeah 50 is the cheaper one and he makes all the way down to a 2.7 for the stage 2 hub

Third, If i just swapped the 2.9 for the stge 2 one in the box before its installed, do you think they would notice? and still warranty it if something blows up? I doubt they will measure the pulleys?

Lastly. is it safe to run a 2.9 on stock internals and cooling devices? Just intake exhaust and stge 2.

Thanks guys!
Jack
