2 weeks with Honed manifold and GMPP Sport Catback
Well I've had my manifold and catback on for just over 2 weeks now. I just wanted to share some thoughts and opinions with you guys. Sound wise, I think its great. Cruising along its noticable but not loud, it doesn't interfere with the radio or conversation. At WOT it sounds great. Its pretty loud but not obnoxious, you definitely know I'm getting on it though. At about 4K RPM its starts sounding pretty wicked up until 6600 or so when I shift.
2 weeks of driving to work and not changing my driving habits, at least not for the better
I have seen a 3mpg increase in fuel mileage. That in itself has made this mod worth every penny. I'm able to go an extra day every week without stopping to fill up. In less than a year it will have paid for itself. I'm pretty stoked about that. I haven't been able to make it to the track yet, I may go tonight, but I've made a few "passes" with the G-tech and I've done a very consistent 1/10 better every time. It definitely has a bit more on the topside.
Only complaint I have, and its not really the manifold or exhausts fault is the carbon build up on the sides of the rear bumper around the exhaust tip. The GMPP Stage 2 is pig rich. It just happens that the tip is so big on the exhaust, that the soot is getting on the bumper now. I've had the Stage 2 since I had 800 miles on the car and never had this problem. Like I said its not really the exhaust fault other than the tip is closer to the bumper now but it has inspired me to go get a dyno tune in the near future. Just wanted to share with you guys.

I have had soot build up on my bumper since I bought the car & with the CAI & a smaller SC pulley it helped i bit but it's still always there when I wash the car. I look at it as insurance that im not running so lean as to pop the motor
I'd like to hear your 60' tomes compared to the stock exhaust as I have ran another Balt here at the newton track & we both had the same mods STG2, CAI I had stock piping & he had preformance piping & I'd take him every time on the bottom end from the start from 1st to second & he just could not make it up or we stayed about even after that as far as if I had 2 cars we finished with a 2 car seperation.
It seams when you open up the exhaust you lose bottom power & gain top end so I've stayed stock on my pipeing but you know it could just be driver error to so I'd like to see more posts in relation to 60' times stock & performance wise.
