I was thinking about that too. A larger capacity fuel pump would be an eventual upgrade.
After installing an intake, header, and cat back.. the next thing holding you back is the stock fuel system.

According to GM, the stock lines are good to approx 600hp. The pump is a different story though and we are working on a solution to this as well. Right now, my opinion is that the stock pump will be good to about 350hp. Stay tuned!

a ? about the injectors. is there a reason a person couldn't use the injectors from the 8.1 trucks which are rated at 496cc or 47lbs. they have the same connector and should be a plug and play type deal. the only problem i see is they are a 47lb injector and you guys are using 42.5 lb. would the extra 5lbs be a big deal?

Say we were to buy the parts listed above, what about those of us who dont live in the imediate vicinty of the midwest. What about those of us that stay in SO CAL areas, like San D or LA? There are a lot of tuners but pretty much only tune imports. Anyo0ne have any recommedations?

I am going to post this here... some of you are not going to understand why, but please bear with me....
I have cracked the algorithms to the GM PCM for the EcoTec product line. What this means is I can access the upload and download process of the PCM with a VPW interface.
HPTuners does not appear to be interested in supporting the 1.X hardware with the 2.0L nor, the 2.2L 4 cylinder PCMs. I find this unacceptable.
DHP is working somewhat on the project today, but it may be awhile since other PCM priorities come first.
SO, what I need is a bootloader for the P12 platform. I have the hardware, and I have the seed and key formula, and I can do the CheckSums for the cal sections.
What will this give someone the ability to do? DOWNLOAD first and foremost. If you can get the stock PCM BIN, and lets say a stage 1, and stage 2, then mapping of certain tables will be very quick. Redo the CSums, and UPLOAD the file back to the PCM with the OBDII port. No add on piggys needed....
If anyone finds this post inappropriate , feel free to delete.

Yeah, it would be great to have a tuning device similar to the "Xcalibrator" for the Mustang...that thing was simply wonderful for those (like myself) who aren't savvy w/ tuning the pcm.
