3.0 do i really need bigger injectors?

I am getting a tune soon and I have a 3.0 pulley, a header and downpipe, do i really need bigger injectors?

no i think you can run 3.0 on stock injectors. But it wouldn't hurt to get some 42s.

i heard at our cars with the stock pulley run full injector campacity at 11lbs psi so we actually overrun the injectors stock so yes for a 3.0 you actually need 42s from what i have read

You overrun the stock injectors with the stock pulley (~120 IDC).

so if we end up maxing out our 42lb injectors with say a 2.9 thats kind of okay cause we max out stock to begin with....right? I know its not good but if it happens then it happens...

You shouldn't be maxing the 42# with a 2.9" pulley. The problem you will run into is after about 6.5k rpms, you will lose a lot of control with the 42# injectors. Ask Area47 if you want more details. He can explain it better then me.
