3" pulley on stock injectors...

Now I know what you are thinking. Basically here's the scenario. I have to drive about an hour away to meet my buddy who will upload the stage 2 tune to my car. I don't have time to sit in a parking lot and rip the blower off the car and put the pulley on, so I plan on doing that in my driveway. The injectors are easy to do in a parking lot but I am not doing the s/c there. So basically, should it be OK to drive with a 3" pulley and stock injectors/tune at highway speeds for about an hour or so until I can get the stage 2 tune/injectors on my car? I won't be flooring it and beating on it, just taking it really easy.

Thoughts/opinions?

What I figured. I read on here about someone using this setup and taking it to 7000RPMS and cracking their pistons Kids..

From my experience, a 3.1" pulley with a redline of 6500RPM puts the injectors in the 95-100% range. If you don't bag the car too much, you should be fine.
