I honestly believe a custom dyno tune with a 2.8 will put you light years ahead of a GM tune that you throw a 2.8 on.
A custom tune is gonna be more then $100.....think about it...the time invested and the needed softwear

think at least 250-300

180 is more then the 100 you said...and it'll take more then a hour to get your tune down...get your afr's rite and all that fun stuff!!!!!

No way should it take more than an hour to tune one car on a dyno. If the place has done other SS's they should at least have an idea of what the tune is going to be like.

I paid $1140 with taxes. Luckily only $220 with taxes to install, 2.8" at the same time. But $130 for the Intense pulley. So $1490 installed w/ taxes.

why ohhhhhh why do you spend soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much money on a kit...a GM kit at that...even the intence set ups arnt that much!!!

thats just crazy i HOPE TO GOD that you think it was worth the money cuz thats a **** load!

I know! It is CDN $$$ but still.

I got the kit about the same time the HPTuner came out and the Intense kits.....if only I woulda waited.

i might be able to shed some light upon you sence our set-ups are close BUT please take you HP softwear and log the car...if you stuck with a rev limit at or below 7k then your ok...kinda...... anything higher and your gonna be in the same boat that i am....let me know what your limit is and such..and log the car and wach you PW in mil-sec's
