I would go lower with the plugs. .35 or less.

No knock is normal. 0 degrees. Tell us how you make out.

I'll go along with knock, although I'd think it's probably more the tune than plugs. How many people tune WOT down to 3500 RPM?

If I could see your tables I could tell you more.

Man I'd love to show you my tables, but I have no tuning software. A fellow member did my tune. And unlucky -- my knock retard guage didn't work, which doesn't surprise me. The scanguage can be a pain in the ass to setup.

What about fuel trims -- is this something that can help with my diags? http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf <-- that's a list of the special guages if you look under the VPW listings. There are short and long trim banks that I can manage. Right now the 4 things I manage or "watch" are intake temp, water temp, AFR (which I doubt is reliable...it's not an "instant"reading).

I know -- I need a better gauge. The scanguage is the only thing that works with my track car unless I buy a dash hawk. But it does have a lot of **** it CAN read on the cobalt. I'm doing the plugs tonight and will report back.

Here's the interesting bit --> I filled my car up with 93 octane, and last night (from what I could tell) there was no hesitation at 3500k. I'm going to test it again on my way home tonight if I get the opportunity. I just don't see how a higher octane could be causing my issue. If I did racing octane (100+), would my **** just blow up?

try to stay out of the gas as much as possible in these kind of temps....not good for it lol

I have a scan gauge we can hook up to it, or you can swing by and have me go for a ride with the Tech2 w/ permission from the boss of course. My Aeroforce Interceptor gauge reads it all pretty much and the T2 reads everything. Wicked may still have some info on you car stored in his laptop?? Talk to him.

I'm running 0.040" with my setup and it seems to be running perfect other than a few degrees of knock from time to time. Still getting all that sorted out when I get the $$$.
