3rd Gen Halo Installation

Experts,
I just got my 3rd gen halo and will try to install them. I understand that I need some connector for the wire (two for each side?) What elase would I be needing?

Is there any instructions anyone has wrote up? I did my search but couldn't find any detailed instructions (with pics).

Thanks for any pointers

Been a while from when I installed them but it was pretty easy. U are just connecting the power for the led's in the headlights and I believe there are 6 total.

go to the auto store and ask for the connectors to splice into another wire. IF I remember right there are directions in the box or I am just imaging(sp?) it. You close the connector onto the middle of a wire(dont remember which one) and it "cuts" into it and u crimp the end of the led wire with the other end of the plug and connect them.

You will be using ur stock harness. Plug the two blue connectors together.

I sodered mine so much cleaner, efficient, easier. But I soder like 50 times a day on guitar and amp wiring but if you know how to soder, or have a friend that does . I recommend doing it. 3rd gens have way tooo much extra wire then needed.

Thanks for all the replies.
Stonny9, for the 3rd Gen pic you have there, looks like it is how I got it. Can you send a pic when you finish with all the wiring? I want to look at what wire goes where and where you put on the connectors.
Thanks

I dont have a finished pic. I just went and pulled the wires out of my car a little. It looks like I spliced everything into the wires of the gray factory plug. The led's are very low power so I tied all of the positive wires together and put them in one plug then did the same to the negative side. So I only used 4 connectors, 2 male and 2 female.

sorry for all the basic questions, since I don't have any electric background, so does it matter what connecters I buy? what sizes or part number?
Thanks
