sounds like large injectors at a high elevation?

1% IDC would make it tough to get a good idle.

I can see a use for 55lb injectors...not everyone has a great tuner on hand anyway if you're going to use that excuse.

the amount fo flow a 55lb per hour injector can produce vs. 60 just doesn't seem like that much to me. I could be wrong, but whatever.

Cool, more parts.

well... 42lb to 60lb is only 18lb more. i think theres a pretty good size difference between 13lbs more and 18 lbs more. its a 33% cut to the injector size increase

yeah that's a great idea!!!! maybe we can get 55 pound injectors just to say that we spent $500 extra tuning them when there are plenty of other options readily available

matter of fact, i bet those 55 pound injectors would be type R and help me spool up this turbo at 2200rpm on the cobalt@@@@!!!! where are the vendors!!!???!!!???!!!

i mean, really... why would anyone even make a thread like this?

seirously guys? the reason why 60's suck at idle are cuz they're a pencil style injector. if theses are cone style 55's that might not be terrible for some people

personally i just have my idle a bit rich.. that makes it so it's not as big of deal but in general 60's suck at idle.. even with a good tune

so we should get rid of 72lb injectors because 80lb injectors are only a little bigger?

Yeah I don't think this thread is all that ridiculous. We have both 80's and 79's which are actually around 72 iirc. I feel we have the need for both of them. 60's are a bit small for my app but the 79's are perfect and the 80's wouldnt be needed.

60's idle shitty everyone knows this there is way's to mask it the end

How about you and I trade places to live? You could move to Wisconsin and change to a flatlander and I can move to Wyoming and become a mountion man! You'll never have to worry about elevation affecting performance again.

I love Wyoming!!

my idle on 60's isnt terrible but i also have them idling at 12-13 or else i get random injector missfires/ lean spikes at idle randomly
