60 ibs or 80 ibs....

i am planning on getting the zzp stage 3 s/c kit for my 06 ss s/c. i was wondering if there was anything better about the 80 ibs injectors over the 60 ibs....like gas mileage or what



oh yea i will have dual pass option b 2.7 and stg 3 he

its not a matter of being better or not, its what you need. and our injectors are rated in pounds / hour, so abbreviated its "lbs" not "ibs"

80s are for more if u wonna run e85 but if ur gonna run 93 pump then just stick with 60s

i dont mean to steal thread but with a tvs and a smaller than stock pulley can u run 60s? or does it have to be 80s

Yes you can run a TVS with 60lbers just fine on 91-93, however you can push them pretty close to there max with smaller pulleys.

The 80lbers don't have to much advantage over the 60lbers, other than you can push your system further. You can also run e85 with 80lbers, as to where you can't with 60lbers, well you could, you just wouldn't get over 5k roughly.

The best injectors on the market for our cars currently though are injector dynamics 1000cc. The spray pattern is far superior to the 60/80lbers. Also fuel mileage will not change between injector sizing, it's all in the tune. A proper dialed in maf / car, will have the exact same fuel mileage stock, if not better, as 1000cc's.
