Dropped mine off about 8am, and it wasn't ready until around 4pm.

Dropped mine off the night before and picked it up the next day at 5:00 PM. That was my choice. I picked it up after work.

Hey everyone. I just got the GM S2 put on and on the way home i noticed that when i shift, the RPM's seem to hold and even bump up a little when i press the clutch in to shift. Its kinda like instead of pressing the clutch and shifting, i press the clutch count to 2 and then shift. Other than that, there is no problem. No sputtering or stalling or anything else. Now its really hot outside with high humidity and the car was hot when i picked it up. Im gonna go out later tonight when its cooler and see what happens. Anyone else experience this hold in RPM while shifting? I know its not really related but this thread seems to be the closest thing. BTW i have a stock air box and filter.

Since you havent done any modifications that would void your warrenty, i'd turn around and take it back, and tell them about it. I'm sure they'll take it for a spin and fix whatever they did wrong that caused it.

Ajent and Rhanes are right... it took most of the day... but i also had them do an oil change and check my boost gauge(its been cutting out since a week after pickup, run fine, cut out...repeat).
i got mine back at like 4pm after leaving it overnight so they could start first thing.

Just got in the car and went for a hair cut, when the car is doing the exact thing it was before. (the almost stall thing). I thought it was my air filter off the tube, well (good thing i checked and put it back on), but it's on now, and still same problem..

Mine is getting worse. Its starting to do it even when warmed up. I had been driving for about 30 minutes (normally would be fine) and it started to hesitate when I shifted. Does it sound like the clutch starting to go? Cause now I'm very confused.

Oh crap, that's not good to hear at all. At the moment, it doesn't matter what time of day, but if my car has been off for hours (over 8) and I turn it on it will do it from 1st to 2nd, and a little less from 2nd to 3rd. even if it warms up. After that first time though, it won't.

i'm assuming if we can't get it resolved, that's what will happen to me soon. =(

Mine only seems to 'stall' during the first 5-10 minutes of driving... once its warmed up it has no problem.

Im going to clean the MAF at some point and hope that helps but something tells me its not going to. Oh well, if it continues Ill take it to the chevy tech that helped me out before and see what he thinks. All I know is that this isnt good and makes me sad inside. =(

to avoid it, i let the car idle for a few minutes before driving, then shift at 3500rpm and baby the gas pedal for the first few miles

Well now that I've got my Stage 2 Kit on order, and will probably have it installed, what plugs do you guys recommend using? I'm figuring that you guys will give the best feedback considering most of the speed shops around here know nothing about the Cobalt SS/SC.
