after a year of waiting...

i finally started my car tonight. havnt driven the car in over a year so stoked to cruize it
around tomorrow. still need to put the front facia back on but after that let the breaking in
of the fresh motor begin. car was running good at idle. afr was around 12.7 is that to lean
for idle?

12.7 is normal for idle if the engine is cold. Once it warms up it should be around 14.7.

Im assuming he roasted his engine since he stated "let the breaking in on the new engine begin". Just my guess anyhow.

Hmmmm. But a year to get a new engine up and going? Seems kinda lengthy. Then again, if my motor croaked, i'm so broke it'd AT LEAST be a year before I got it back on the road, lol.

i blew the motor just before last winter. spent all my money going to vegas to race the minimoto
supercross so couldnt fix it. then got sent to oaklahoma,texas louisianna,and alabama for work. now im
home and had the time to put everything back together. car only has 40000 miles on it

that my aem eugo wideband isnt working right. its stuck at 14.7. dont know why i guess
bad sensor, mabye from oil blowby when i blew it up?

the new b&g coilovers ride smooth as *** and the hahn catback sounds great. btw

i would go nuts if i couldnt drive my car for a year...i went crazy when i didnt hav my car for a month because the company that makes harmonic balancers for our motors went bankrupt and i had to wait on gm to find another company to make one
