airbox mod

so i was doing the airbox thing and i got a 3 inch AEM dry flow and everything was going great til i went to put the new filter on and the pipe at the end of the stock airbox and the new filter end was the same size?? i couldnt put the new filter over the old pipe or into the old pipe? wtf i do wrong??

I forget the exact size of the stock pipe, but it's just a hair over 3". Maybe you got the wrong filter.

I think the 3" is too small. When I did my airbox mod I got a 3.25" x 5" dryflow and it was perfect. It was really snug when I when to put it on but still tightened it up pretty good. You may need a 3.25". I think it is like 3.1ish inches or so.

i think imma get some kinda rubber/plastic tubing and clamp the two together, i think it should work fine.

3.15 inches. the 3.25 filters will fit if you snug them up really good. (i dont even have the air box mod I've just done it a couple times..
just hone it out with a razor blade or something

Is there a how-to for the 2.0 S/C airbox? I only saw one for the 2.2 and 2.4 in the How-To section.
