All turbo converted balts in here for question time!

Hey guys as you know I am working with Bill Hahn over at Hahn Racecraft building my car using a GT35R turbo and a full built motor. Anyway we are looking at the belt drive system now and we are trying to make everything look as clean as possible. (No belt coming up to where the supercharger pulley was).

We are wondering if anyone has taken off the pulley from the alternator and put on just a regular pulley (no clutch). We are thinking of making the belt drive system a little different by changing out the pullies so we can run a conventional belt. (one side ribbed, and the other smooth.)

We are looking for help asap so any help would be highly appreciated!

well, you could get a 2.2 or 2.4 alternator I beleive.....and a tensioner from them and eliminate our tensioner and supercharger pulley.....

Didnt some people try that and they were having charging problems? It does sound like the easiest thing to do though.Or maybe look into the lnf alternator.I know they spin in the same direction as the crank.
