i ran out of space lol, ummm, yah fully ported and polished head, new valves and dual coil valve springs, 5 angle valve job, and aswell a custom set of ev0 262 grind on my cams, so well see how she runs, next is turbo

i think i need a sponsor though thats not me, im the only one dishing out money on such a crazy build, best thing is ive done it all myself,

With the cams, I assume they are regrounds. Did you shim the lifters?

Also when you deleted the balance shafts are you sure the oil holes are plugged. Noisy valvetrain could be because of oil starvation.

the middle ones are plugged i know for a fact i did it myself, the only concern was levelzero only said the middle one needed to be but in DSM's all the other bearing need to be turned, hmmm, i think ill install an oil pressure gauge tomorrow as i think my factory one is toast

, and yes i had the lifters shimmed, as i was watching i tihnk it was your thread, it was all done professinally on the head side of things, i ran out of time

im pretty sure i overtorqued(accidental, cover was already on, and notice that the book said inch pounds), but not a 100% positive, my cams so meaning it would cause sticky lifters would it not

What did you overtorque? The only thing I can think of that would affect lifter performance would be to overtorque the cam cap bolts but they snap at extremely low levels of torque. The lifters are stationary so unless they are collapsing not much can affect them other than oil starvation and improper clearance.

You can try taking the cam cover off and moving a lifter to see if its tight. Maybe pour some oil into the cam cover while the engine is running to see if it quiets up at all. Just some ideas.

yah i think ill try the cam cover off and pour some oil, it was the cam caps, i never snapped one bolt so im assuming im safe, hopefully im not having oil pressure issues, if i am, time to start looking deeper , but we all knwo where that will be lol

Good luck and keep us updated. If its running, it can't be that hard to fix the rest.

Haha nice. Yeah I believe my holdout on spraying on the new build ended with the phrase "eh **** it, I already know how to rebuild it" right before throwing the arming switch.

Redline Dan (djt81185) is maxing out 60lb injectors (110% duty cycle) sitting around 305-310 mustang whp. Best bet by far is to convert to a return style system which will allow much much better high vacuum injector pulses and better high pressure ones as well. You'll be able to stretch out the capability of the 60s a bit further.

k guys clutch is bled, valve train noise is fixed, it needs to build oil pressure now, it takes longer, because no balance shafts,

my issue is now i cant get into any gears when the car is running, no problem, when its not, but big issues when the car is, any ideas would help, im so close to tuning

If it shifts fine when the car is off, then it is probably something with the PP/Disc/Flywheel or throwout bearing. Something not mating up correctly. Probably gonna need to lug the trans off and take a look. God I hate taking the trans off these cars. I would rather build the motor than do a clutch install.

Not with the lsj Thowout bearing it's attached to the slave.
I'm still thinking the clutch isn't flat on the flywheel.

Yeah, something isn't mating up correctly inside the tranny it sounds like. Be sure to let us know when you can, this has me very curious.
