Another CRAZY IC pump alternitive thread

Suit is on and ready to go.....

Was trollin around eBay looking for an IC Pump b/c mine is on its way out. When I found this

Charge Chiller Turbo Intercooler DC Water Liquid Pump | eBay

Seems like it would be a viable candidate. Only reason I'm throwing this on out there is that if you read the pump specs it is a BRUSHLESS motor. This greatly increases the efficiency of the motor and the longevity.

Also, just trying to find out if anyone has tried this one as well.

Keep it classy Css.net

Might last longer, but are all the flow characteristics the same as the stock pump?

BTW...this is really an AC motor. It's supplied DC and has an internal inverter. Sorry, its kinda what I do for a living haha

I've been looking at pump threads lately and I heard the CX pump although brushless which is good, is not as high flowing as the stock bosch pump as has been shown is comparison tests. Although at the same time more then a few members have got it and are extremely happy with it.

More flow doesn't mean more better... I know more better isn't proper...

Don't buy anything directly from their website. You'll almost ALWAYS find a much better price on eBay... and it ships from the exact same place.

just replace your bosch. $99 shipped...... cheap and best for cobalt SS/SC's. They have done studies where more flow has been proven to be less effective and creates bubbling in the system. Stock bosch is best and cheap.

im just gonna zip tie some tube stick insulation around it and see if it fits... if not, another layer of tube insulation and ziptie lol. my iats after driving 30mins are 158ish sometimes 160 so my current pump is defiantly done.

also the electrical line issue to where its to goddamn short... are you just gonna twist them together and electrical tape them?

I've already commented on this. The CX racing pump is straight garbage. I wouldnt trust it to pump water out of my shoe.
