pretty impressive but wasn't bill from hahn claiming IATs below 100degrees with their turbo swap kit? if so, to me the turbo swap would be more efficient. and less work consider all the internals whoever this guy is has done..i imagine the turbo got better gas mileage to, which is a big thing for me
Like i said before, we are using a crappy factory intercooler, craming 2X+ more air through it and expecting it to perform like a nice large aftermarket intercooler. Its not going to happen.
Your IAT2 is a measurement of intercooler effectiveness more than anything and secondly a measure of the boosting device performance. If you want a real comparison of the boosting device itself, measure outlet temperatures right after the turbo and right after the supercharger.
Even a 100% efficient boosting device will have higher than 100 degree F outlet temperatures at the pressures we are running
